Best Western Dam Square Inn - Amsterdam

We had a just perfect stay by 1 night.

Great value, room was functional, staff were affable. The hotel offered a lovely and fine breakfast with juices and fresh tasty bread and a good assortment of fresh tasty bread. Booked a room with an extra bed.

Recently refurbished and fairly clean place, everything was very comfortable. My breakfast was wonderful with excellent expresso coffee. The location was magnificent on foot or with public transport and the staff here was extremely helpful. In general the service was very good.

The ralationship between price anf confort is not acceptable.

For starters the hotel was very basic and dated. In the Bedroom the sink stopper did not fit the sink, and the cups and spoons were plastic. The Breakfest was basic and the hotelseems to be short staffed at times. I also was awakened out of my sleep at 6 30 in the morning by reception telling me that my Taxi was waiting, to which I never ordered in the first place. Overall poor value foe money.

We liked a very pleasant restaurant with an Indian menu.

Stuff was very friendly and helpful, location is great.

I enjoyed my time here, especially the cozy twin room and the relaxing vibe of the lounge area. They had great options for unwinding, like a lovely garden space and a nice little bar. The only hiccup was the breakfast selection, which could use a bit more variety. 😊

I had an amazing stay with a room upgrade that was very nice, a clean bathroom with a great walk-in shower, and a lovely breakfast spread to start the day. I'd definitely come back!

Perfect location just near the Dam square, but in the small side-street.

Non-smiley staff. Room in the upper floor has only window straight to the sky - they didn't notify clients about that.

The hotel in general was very good.The staff were very friendly and helpful.The breakfast was included in the price and it was ok.The rooms were small but the beds were extemely comfortable and the design of the bathroom was modern.They changed the towels and made the bed every day.The location was perfect (5 min walk to the Central Station and The Red Light District and in the middle of many shops).

The only problem with the breakfast was that it was exactly the same every day.I was also a bit disappointed with it as there was only one kind of cheese in the land of cheese! and no cooked food.One thing I found strange was that I stayed for 5 nights but the sheets were never changed and the carpet was never cleaned.
